About M & G Plumbing & Heating
We're a local plumbing and heating company working out of our shop on Sackett Point Road. Our plumbers handle the pipes, drains, fixtures and water heaters; our HVAC team handles furnaces, boilers and air conditioning. Each side has its own phone line, and both are open 24/7, holidays included.
A Plumbing & Heating Company for Hamden, CT
M & G Plumbing & Heating does two jobs that most homes need from the same people: plumbing, and the heating and cooling that keep a Connecticut house comfortable. Hamden, CT is our main service area, and we also work across New Haven, West Haven, East Haven, Branford and the other towns near our shop.
Why both under one roof? Because the systems overlap. A boiler is plumbing as much as it is heating. A gas line feeds the furnace, the range and the water heater. An oil-to-gas conversion touches the gas piping, the venting and the heating system all at once. When one company understands all of it, you make one call instead of three.
Most of the houses we work in are older, from the early-1900s homes near the New Haven line to the postwar capes and colonials further out. We like old houses, and we fix what's worth keeping instead of replacing everything in sight.
